Research Output in HSUHK Scholars refers to the collection of your scholarly works, including journal articles, conference papers, books, patents, and other types of publications. This section is the core element of the platform and allows you to document, manage, and showcase your research contributions in a structured manner.
In HSUHK Scholars, research outputs are imported from Scopus automatically when your profile is available. Regularly updating and importing are also scheduled between the two systems.
Still, you can manually add a research output either by creating a record via the provided template or by importing from an available online source. You are highly recommended to manually add a new record to the portal by creating it from a template. Check out the guide here for more details:

A working paper is a document that constitutes an early version of a publication. Working papers are primarily used for exchanging ideas or to get feedback, before submitting them to a publisher. Working papers are usually published by the author's own institution.

Contribution to specialist publication typically includes articles or works published in specialist or professional journals that may not be peer-reviewed scholarly journals. These can be articles, guidelines, or summaries aimed at informing practitioners in a specific field. This category often covers unrefereed works published under editorial control, such as professional updates or medical case histories

Books, reports, and anthologies/collected works where the author(s) are responsible for the entire work. Related work should come with an ISBN.

This category refers to research output that is not explicitly text, e.g., content with a main focus on audio or images.
