A personal account in Scite offers numerous benefits beyond institutional access, enhancing the research experience for individual users. With a personal account, you can create customized dashboards to track specific papers or topics of interest, set up personalized email alerts for new citations or publications, and save customed searches for future reference.
To create your personal account while maintaining it within the library subscription, please ensure registration is made with your HSUHK email address. Steps are as follows:
1. At the top bar menu, click on Sign Up.
2. Enter your name and other information as required and click Sign up.
*Remember to register with your HSUHK email.
3. A verification email will be sent to your HSUHK email account. Click the button in the email for validation. You are now all set!
4. Go back to Scite, click the account icon and select My Profile.
5. You will be directed to the profile interface where you are able to manage different tools based on your need and interest.
