Goal 16: Promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies
A peaceful and inclusive society free from violence and injustice is a must for its sustainable development. However, nowadays, millions of people are deprived of human rights, security, and access to justice. For example, a quarter of the global population is afflicted by war and conflicts.
Through collaboration with governments and communities, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG16) seeks to reduce violence, exploitation, and corruption and promote non-discriminatory laws and policies worldwide.
