Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Social Innovation Resources

United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals

The global challenges now we face including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. On September 25, 2015, 193 countries adopted a set of goals to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

These Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a set of 17 "Global Goals with 169 specific targets between them. These kind of goals build on the successes of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and addresses a range of social needs.
