- Creative Commons (CC) Search - It is a customizable search engine designed and hosted by Creative Commons that offers image, media, video, music, and web content search tools. It searches numerous collections including Flickr, Wikimedia Commons, and many others.
- Flickr - Many Flickr users have chosen to offer their works under Creative Commons licenses. You can browse or search through content under each type of license.
- Free Images - A library of stock photography for use on websites, printed media, products and anywhere you need a photo. Images are provided free of charge for both commercial and personal use under an attribution license.
- Google Advanced Images Search - To find images that can be reused and remixed use Google's Advanced Image search options.. After running a search, use the search tools button (under the top search box), to limit Usage Rights to find images with Creative Commons licenses.
- Gratisography - Free high-resolution pictures you can use on your personal and commercial projects. Photographic images are available on a Creative Commons Zero license.
- Open Photo - The Open Photo Project is a photo sharing platform. Contributors have offered their images free of charge under terms of Creative Commons licensing.
- Pexels.com - The world's first inclusive free stock photo & library." Attribution is appreciated but not required. Photos that are 100% free to use and adapt.
- Unsplash - All photos are licensed under Creative Commons Zero which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes.
- Wikimedia Commons - A collection of over 73 million freely usable media files to which anyone can contribute.
